Hand-Made Jewelry

My foray into jewelry making started with necklaces. It was difficult to find the kind of necklaces I liked that fit my eclectic tastes. More often than not, I would find several that had different elements I fancied. I would purchase as many as possible then alter them to suit me.

The rosaries came about when a friend asked if I could make one for him. He had seen several of my necklaces and wondered if I had ever made rosaries. So I looked up the necessary elements, gathered what I needed and, voila, a new creative outlet for me was born.
As for making earrings, well, that just seemed the natural progression from necklaces. Of course having several co-workers ask if I had earrings to match some necklaces helped too.
A co-worker asked me to fix a bracelet she purchased that had come un-strung. While I was re-stringing it, I realized how easy the task was. With this in mind I began assembling bracelets of my own design.
As well as the traditional style
rosaries
, I also make
chaplets
, and Anglican rosaries.
Necklaces, earrings and bracelets
can be in sets or as separate pieces. I also like to have input on the pieces I make, so if you see something you like, but may want a different color, lets talk and see what we can come up with.
I try to ensure that the rosaries and jewelry I make are one-of-a-kind. There may be occasions where I have the supplies to make more than one item of the same style. Please

Below are some examples of my chaplets and a couple of Rosary/Chaplet sets that I have made. And you may ask; "What's the difference between a rosary and a chaplet?"
A rosary has five decades attached to a centerpiece. A Chaplet has three decades attached to a centerpiece.
Below are sets I made, I call them Mother and Child rosaries. Originally I made a set for my cousin's wife and her soon to be daughter as a Christmas gift. I liked the idea so much I decided to keep this as part of what I do.
Below are more examples of my rosaries.
Necklace and Earrings
As I said before my sets can be broken up, so please don't think that this is all I have available.
